Typically, I have some fun moments to share, but this month, I must be honest with you—I’ve been so busy taking care of all my wonderful clients that the most prominent social outing I’ve had recently is hosting 15 open houses over the past four weeks. I’m not complaining at all! One of the best parts of my career is getting to know more about people in our community—a special thank you to all my clients, staff, friends, and family. Did you hear the Vons in La Crescenta and Montrose will be sold if a big grocery store merger is approved? If approved, I would like to see a new face in town, maybe Super King. How about you? Who would you like to see in our community?
LA County is updating the Regional Plan for the Unincorporated West San Gabriel Valley areas. This plan covers 23.2 square miles and includes nine separate unincorporated communities. Your input on housing density, re-zoning, traffic, and other aspects is not just important; it’s vital. The deadline for comments is August 12. In the WSGV, the county aims to add 10,874 new housing units, accommodate approximately 25,954 new residents, and create 16,243 new jobs over the next 20 years to address the housing shortage and promote economic growth.
